Ohhhh myyyyy goodnesss you guys!!! I am BEYOND excited to share this Standley Lake anniversary session!! I've been dreaming of doing a Colorado anniversary session like this for approximately forever, and I am just over the moon that it finally happened!!
Every once in a while, everything lines up perfectly — the light, the weather, the wind blowing that dress just right — and the photo I've been envisioning in my head becomes a reality. When that moment comes together, it makes me one incredibly happy Colorado photographer!
Christine and Tyler were the absolute perfect couple for this session. They were down for anything, which was a very good thing, because I asked a lot of them! Not to mention, they are absolutely stunning and so much fun to be around. I just love anniversary sessions, too. For one, I think it's such a perfect reason for photos, but also there's something a little bit more relaxed about them! You're not worried about getting that perfect shot for your save the dates, or making sure mom is happy with the photos. It's just all about the two of you! And if that means getting in the lake, then let's get in the damn lake! Whether you're celebrating one year or ten, a Colorado anniversary session is such a beautiful way to commemorate your love story and create images you'll treasure for years to come.
I hope getting drenched and hiking back to the parking lot in a wet dress and jeans was worth it for you guys , I totally think it was!! Thank you both so much for being such troopers and helping me make this dream shoot a reality!
